Face mask exemptions

The current advice is to wear a suitable face covering when attending your appointment in a healthcare setting. However, in some cases, a face covering is not recommended. To give you peace of mind, we have created a card you carry if you are exempt from wearing a face covering.

All visitors must wear a face covering unless they are part of one of the following groups:

  • Children under 11 years old.
  • People with a disability.
  • People with breathing difficulties.
  • Those travelling with someone who relies on lip reading.

If this applies to you, please click the link here, print out a copy and keep it with you when you visit. Please present this card if asked to at any point during your stay.
