Alice tackles Everest in memory of her dad

In March 2018, Trust Occupational Therapist, Alice Douglas, will be trekking for 16 days to the base camp of the world’s highest mountain.

Alice, accompanied by her sister and friend, will trek 5,645m high to raise money for pancreatic cancer in memory of her Dad.

Alice’s dad was diagnosed with stage four advanced, inoperable pancreatic cancer. A few weeks later they received the devastating news that he had only six months to live.

The trio are taking on the challenge in order to raise money to fund research into the illness. You can help support them on their climb by donating here, helping them to their goal of £11,000.

Good luck Alice!
