Board of Directors meeting 27 February update

An update on our Board of Directors meeting as severe weather comes to Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire

Please note: The Board of Directors meeting is going ahead as planned.

As you may be aware, a Cold Weather Alert (level 3) has been issued by the Met Office, with a 99% probability of severe cold weather between now and Friday for Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

In light of these developments, this may adversely affect travel arrangements for our Trust Governors and the public attempting to get to our scheduled Board of Directors meeting at 9am on 27 February at Bassetlaw Hospital.

As a public meeting, we have a duty of care for those wishing to attend and, as an organisation, must ensure that the meeting only goes ahead if it is safe to do so.

If you plan on attending, please check this website page, or alternatively your email inbox, before travelling tomorrow morning, where we will be in a better position to understand how people may be affected and if the meeting will go ahead as planned.

Should the meeting end up being cancelled we would look to rearrange for Thursday 8 March in the morning which would have some knock-on consequences for the planned Board of Governors Timeout which we would look to reschedule as soon as possible.
