We ended last week having just discharged our 500th patient who has successfully battled Covid-19. We wish them the very best in their ongoing recovery. At the time of writing, we are caring for six positive patients – five at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and one at Bassetlaw Hospital – we hope to see them clear of the disease soon and on their way home safely.
One month has gone by without an additional Covid-19 death reported our hospitals. We had gone more than three weeks without confirming a new admission of Covid-19, however this came to an end on Thursday last week when we admitted a patient with the illness.
