Service Assistants undertake all appropriate cleaning, portering, catering, and housekeeping duties maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the hospital.
We have vacancies available for 2 x 22.5 hours per week and 1 x 20 hours per week, the roles cover 24 hours per day, 7 days a weeks per week. Applicants will be required to have availability to cover all shifts within a 24 hour period
The service that you will provide is paramount to our ability to provide high quality and safe services which operate 24 hours each day, 7 days a week.
Service Assistant posts working within the Central Team must hold a current driving license with Category B on their license. You will be required to work flexibly as your working arrangements may include nights and weekends. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.

Assessment event: Thursday 29 August 2019
The assessment event will be an opportunity for you to meet our staff, to learn about a typical day in the life of a Service Assistant, to learn what is important to us and to ask any questions that you might have. The assessment event will include a numeracy and literacy test.
