This award is sponsored by Transave UK, and the shortlist is:

Susan Howard, Performance and Admin Lead Trihealth Bassetlaw

Susan is an incredibly committed and hard working member of the TriHealth Bassetlaw team. She is flexible, innovative and positive and always goes the extra mile. She cares about the patients who use the service and is always committed to ensuring that they are provided with a high standard of service.

In recent weeks, she has also shown her dedication and versatility by putting in creative arrangements and helping to backfill a vacant post at TriHealth Doncaster and has offered development opportunities to members of her team as part of this plan.

Joshua Parker, Procurement Specialist

Joshua knows how effective teamwork makes a difference and noticed the MTS department required extra support to ensure the clinical departments purchased new medical devices in a controlled/ sustainable manner. In answer to the need of procurement of 160 syringe pumps for the Trusts Medical Equipment library’s, Joshua set up a Focus group, Delphi Group, Best practice, Audit form and questionnaire. Harmonising the information gained to identify and enable the process to measure the extent to which success will be achieved, in relation to purchasing the best pump for the best value for money.

Jill Levin, Surgery Rota Co-ordinator

Jill acts as a lifeline to many members of the medical team from doctors in training through to consultants and clinical directors. Providing support, direction and an ear to listen on the best or worst of days.

Jill coordinates rotas ensuring the right person with the right skills is in the right place at the right time to ensure delivery of exceptional patient care. Jill’s friendly and supportive approach is welcomed by new doctors in training and her knowledge of the Trust provides clear direction and establishes trust and confidence, enhancing the induction period and being a point of contact to all. The doctors in training have asked for Jill be nominated on their behalf as a thank you and well done for making the transition onto new areas less daunting.
