Dr Tim Noble, Medical Director at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals said: “With a heavy heart, I can confirm that a patient who had tested positive for Covid-19, has passed away at Bassetlaw Hospital.
“The patient, who was in their 60s, had underlying health conditions.
“As a Trust, we share our deepest sympathies with their loved ones and we are asking the media to respect the wishes of the family for privacy during this difficult time.”
