Student Nurse open day for Doncaster and Bassetlaw

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) is inviting student nurses who are due to qualify between now and September 2020 to two open days.

The events, one at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and the other at Bassetlaw Hospital, are an opportunity for soon-to-qualify registered nurses to find out more about working at the Trust and apply to join the team.

The posts are in a wide range of adult specialties and those who have completed an application before 20 February will be offered an interview on the day.

You can apply here.

The events will be held:

  • 9 March, The Hub, Bassetlaw Hospital
  • 11 March, Education Centre, Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

As a Trust, Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals hosts three hospital sites, Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital, and serves around 444,000 patients annually. One of the largest employers in the area, the organisation has around 6,600 members of staff and oversees the development of around a third of all health students in the region.

David Purdue, Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals at the Trust, said: “It is our goal to give those who join Team DBTH the tools and opportunities in order to grow their career, with many of our staff starting their careers at the Trust before going on to leadership roles within our organisation. So whether you spend just one year with us or numerous, it’s our pledge to help you Develop, Belong and Thrive, Here.”
