Steven had not been in hospital for over 50 years and was extremely nervous about the whole experience, after a scary episode with a tetanus injection some years ago.
Recently, Steven was admitted to Ward 32 and, in his own words, has never felt so cared for, so at ease, describing the hospitality and nursing care as ‘amazing’, aswell as each and every member of staff ‘wonderful’. Steven wants to communicate his good experience to everyone, especially our Chief Executive, Richard Parker, and Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Professionals, Moira Hardy.
The patient wanted to show his gratitude with lovely comments to all the staff and an incredible donation to the ward of £1,000. On behalf of all of Team DBTH, we want to thank Steven for being ever so kind!
