Current Awareness Services

The Library service can help you keep up to date with news and changes in your field – from current awareness bulletins on different topics to alerts to let you know when new articles appear in your favourite journals or new books arrive on any of a number of different specialties.

Current Awareness Bulletins

These are regularly produced, highlighting key evidence, reports and articles from a wide range of sources and e-mailed out to subscribers as a pdf.

A collection of the latest articles, reports and evidence relating to cancer and oncology.

Commissioning Bulletin

All of the latest reports, articles and other publications on infection control.

The latest reports, evidence and publications relating to maternity and obstetric services.

A round up of the latest research, reports and other articles focusing on  mindfulness in healthcare.

A summary of the newest evidence, guidelines and reports in the field of palliative and end of life care.

Highlights of the latest case studies, reports and briefings shared by other healthcare services around the country.

Non-Medical Prescribers

Quarterly update of articles specific to issues relevant to NMPs.

Daily Health Bulletin.

This is a daily (Mon-Fri) e-mail alert of key NHS, NICE and other health related organisations and government departments covering many different aspects of healthcare.  For examples of past issues (in a slightly different format) – click here

To sign up for any of these bulletins, please download this form and email to or drop it in to the library at DRI or Bassetlaw Hospital. Alternatively, just email the library at the same address and tell us which bulletin/s you’d like to subscribe to.

From Anaesthesia to Obstetrics, Emergency medicine to Paediatrics, would you like to receive details of new books added to library stock in a subject area(s) that you’re interested in?
