Last year, the We Care into the Future event held was held in Doncaster and Bassetlaw.

Meet Luke Laing, Hall Cross Alumni and previous Health Ambassador for the Foundation School in Health.

“I felt really proud coming back to Doncaster, I was one of the first students to volunteer at the event when it started out. Being a health ambassador for the Foundation School in Health gave me vast amounts of experience and opportunities which all helped me to where I am today, studying Dental surgery at the University of Sheffield.

“It’s an honour to come back, inspire students and share my journey in becoming an allied health care professional. It is a great event which sheds light on other healthcare professions and plants a seed in students which hopefully one day will grow.”
