Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a dynamic, proactive housekeeper to work as part of the Children’s Outpatient Department, working 5 hours per day – Monday to Friday.
The Housekeeper role is an integral part of the ward team with the main objectives being to ensure we have a clean and tidy department, equipment is well maintained and stock levels are closely monitored.
Excellent communication skills are vital as the role includes liaising with Catering department, Estates and Facilities and working closely with the nursing team. Great organisational skills are required to work under non-direct supervision to prioritise your own workload. It is necessary to have a flexible approach within this role and be able to respond appropriately to the demands of an ever changing workload.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the patient and family experience in the Children’s Outpatient Department, so previous experience with customer care would be ideal.
