Where can I find it?

If you’re using an NHS computer at DBTH, DynaMed is within the Clinical System folder, available in the Start menu (no login is required)

or

https://www.dynamed.com/ or via your OpenAthens Resources page

Do I need an NHS Open Athens account to access it?

Yes: register for an NHS OpenAthens account at https://openathens.nice.org.uk/

However you don’t need OpenAthens if accessing via the DBTH desktop outlined above

Should I create a personal account?

Yes create a personal account and you can download the app, create alerts, save searches and more!

There are 5 short steps to getting the app for your tablet or phone:

  1. Open Dynamed via your Athens resources on PC
  2. Create a personal account in Dynamed
  3. Download the app from Google Play/ the IOS App Store
  4. Log in with your personal account
  5. Choose which version of dynamed to download depending on how much space you have
