An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, driven and patient focused individual to work within the Division of Medicine.

Band: 8b fixed term/Secondment for nine to 12 months, based at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

This senior position will report to Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Emma Challans, and work in and across clinical/non-clinical teams in the delivery and performance of clinical services.  Below is an outline of the post key responsibilities, offering operational, strategic and change management.

It’s important to note that our Division is a team and ‘our way’ is to learn and improve together by being transparent and open in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementation of the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit
  • Capacity and demand planning
  • Effective Patient Pathway – divisional improvement plan
  • Performance – Medicine
  • Engagement and support
