As anyone who has come into contact with this bacteria will know, this is a particularly unpleasant bug which can lead to serious bowel problems.
As a Trust we have managed to go 50 days without incidence due to better processes around the infection, increasing antibiotic reviews as well as further vigilance from the Infection Prevention and Control team, and all clinicians, when observing patients.
