Do you have excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for delivering compassionate care? What about previous experience working in Gynaecology or Breast surgery? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are currently looking for a registered nurse, with a high level of interpersonal skills, to join our Senior Management team as a Matron for Gynaecology. Among your responsibilities, you will be required to provide leadership for nurses, work alongside the Surgical Division, and offer insightful clinical knowledge and expertise. Furthmore, you will need to lead by example and establish rigorous training programmes with the education department, in order to maintain a high quality of care throughout your wards.

In addition to dealing with day-to-day operational issues like these, you will also support the maternity 24 hour Manager and deliver on the Trust’s reporting requirement. This includes providing quality assurance and contributing to the Division’s strategic direction.

As the post-holder, you will need to have strong communication and organisational skills, alongside the relevant qualifications. You must also have the capacity to work under pressure, with an unpredictable work pattern.
