Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a medium sized foundation Trust with big ambitions. We’re aiming to be in the top 10% for everything we do, including education.

We are looking to appoint an Education Lead to join our team at DBTH. The post holder will be a Registered Nurse or Registered Healthcare Professional and will be required to work within the department of Training and Education, and with senior leaders (heads of nursing, clinical directors and general managers) and external partners to ensure the provision of high quality training and education to all of our staff and future workforce. The post holder will help to identify local educational requirements and support the delivery of Trust, Regional and National initiatives. In addition the post holder will coordinate all widening participation activities working in collaboration with local schools Colleges and the wider community alongside the Vocational Education Manager.  The post holder will line manage a team of Vocational and Clinical Educators to ensure there is consistency, transferability and understanding of educational work across the Trust at all levels and staff groups including all Corporate divisions. The post holder will be expected to participate in regular networking events to ensure information is disseminated and lessons are learnt across the organisation and the Yorkshire and Humber region.
