An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Medical HR Team; The Medical HR Team provides advice and guidance on all medical employment terms and conditions and supports Divisions with recruitment to medical and dental roles within the Trust.   This is a fixed term post for up to 9 months to cover maternity leave.

We are the lead employer for a number of speciality training programmes within Yorkshire and Humber and undertake the administration associated with this employment model such as training doctor rotations, exception reports and processing pay in line with the training doctor contract.

The Medical HR Admin Assistant will provide administrative support within the team. A key requirement for this post is to be able to communicate effectively  with Divisional Directors, Consultants, Business Managers, General Managers and Doctors, both in post and as applicants, on a daily basis. A high degree of accuracy is required together with a keen attention to detail and ensuring that documentation is dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

The role is fast paced and the ideal candidate will be comfortable in their ability to communicate with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing.  Above all we are looking for someone who is quick learning, with drive and enthusiasm and who is willing to go the ‘extra mile’ for our customer base.

Ideally we are looking for someone with knowledge of medical terms and conditions, (visit NHS Employers website for more information) experience of recruitment processes and the ESR payroll system. However training will be provided to the right candidate who has a willingness to learn and can demonstrate an understanding of the role.  The successful candidate will need to evidence a working knowledge of electronic systems such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
