The purpose of the Ward Clerk is to ensure that all patients admitted have all relevant documentation in place on arrival, ensuring that the Trusts electronic systems are kept up to date and that key elements of the patient’s pathway are recorded on the relevant systems ensuring the patients pathway is correct on arrival and discharge.

Ward Clerk – Mexborough Rehab Unit

This post is to be based on the Rehab Unit at Montagu Hospital, working Monday and Tuesday.  We are looking to hire an enthusiastic  individual to join our well established team. We are looking for someone who works well under pressure, is keen to learn, is a great team player but is self-motivated and can work independently and as part of a team.   The post holder will be required to assist with all the admin and clerical duties as the ward requires.

Ward Clerk – Obstetrics at DRI

You must have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work both alone and as part of a team.  This posts demands a candidate who pays attention to detail, is well organised and flexible. A good standard of education is essential with Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in both Maths and English.  You must be IT Literate. The post holder will be responsible for providing an effective and well organised administration/reception service.

Ward Clerk – Surgery and Cancer Division at DRI

This position is for a Ward Clerk float to work and provide cover on various wards within the Surgery and Cancer Division.  The purpose of the Ward Clerk is to ensure that all patients admitted have all relevant documentation in place on arrival, ensuring that the Trusts electronic systems are kept up to date and that key elements of the patient’s pathway are recorded on the relevant systems ensuring the patients pathway is correct on arrival and discharge.

Ward Clerk – Surgical Assessment Ward and ESAC

This position is for a Ward Clerk to work and provide cover for the Surgical Assessment Ward and ESAC within the Surgery and Cancer Division. The purpose of the Ward Clerk is to ensure that all patients admitted have all relevant documentation in place on arrival, ensuring that the Trusts electronic systems are kept up to date and that key elements of the patient’s pathway are recorded on the relevant systems ensuring the patients pathway is correct on arrival and discharge.
