Local hospitals to host Annual Members’ Meeting

Members of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) are invited to attend the Trust’s Annual Members’ Meeting, which will take place Thursday 26 September.

An opportunity to hear about the work and achievements of the organisation in 2018/19, the event will start at 4.00pm at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster.

The formal meeting will begin at 5.00pm and feature presentations of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts 2018/19.  There will also be an opportunity to hear from the DBTH Executive Team and Governors, as well as time to ask questions of the hospitals’ performance. In all, the event will run for around two hours.

As an expression of DBTH’s commitment to inclusivity, the meeting will be signed by a British Sign Language interpreter.

You can register your attendance by heading to https://dbth2019.eventbrite.co.uk

Suzy Brain England OBE, Chair of the Board, said: “The past year has been full of promise and improvement for the Trust and this is an opportunity for our Board of Directors, Council of Governors and members to come together to reflect on this performance.

“We look forward to welcoming people from across Doncaster, Bassetlaw and Mexborough to discuss our plans for the future and hear about our collective achievements. This is an optimistic time for DBTH as we strive to become the safest Trust in England, outstanding in all that we do, so please join us as we explore 2018/19 and also look towards what comes next for our organisation.”

Guests will have the opportunity to visit some of the many displays on health topics and developments at the Trust and to meet local Governors who represent the views of patients, public, staff and partner organisations.

The Patient Experience Team will also be available to discuss any queries or concerns regarding the care and treatment of individual patients.

Copies of the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts 2018/19 will be available at the Annual Members’ Meeting, or by request to the Trust Board Secretary’s office by emailing dbth.foundation.office@nhs.net
