On Wednesday 6 September Stage 4 of The Tour of Britain, the UK’s premier road cycling race, will take place for the first time across North  Nottinghamshire and part of the route will take the 120 cyclists past Bassetlaw Hospital.

The route brings the race past Bassetlaw Hospital on Kilton Hill (B6041) at around 1.00pm and Kilton Hill and the surrounding roads will be closed to all non-emergency vehicles from approximately 12.30pm until 1.30pm, this will include the Kilton Hill entrance to the hospital.  It is also anticipated traffic in and around Worksop will be disrupted with long delays throughout this period.
