An opportunity has arisen within the Theatre Department at Bassetlaw District General Hospital, to support with ordering and procurement within Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Previous IT and procurement experience is essential, though full training for the role will be given for the right applicant, including training in the usage of the computerised Theatres ordering system.
You will be a well organised individual, with good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a member of the Theatres Stock Supplies Team, you will be responsible for ordering supplies using our computerised ordering systems, receiving the stock deliveries and correctly storing ordered items.
Support and guidance will be given throughout, learning opportunities and training will be provided.
You will work closely with the Department Manager and the Theatre Services Manager and contribute to stock projects to improve our standardisation of stock and stock rotation, as well as taking part in Stock Take Audits.
Working hours are 21.5 hours working 3 days a week, with opportunities for additional working hours to support with annual leave cover.
