An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Medical Workforce and Recruitment Team within People and Organisational Development; this is a newly formed team and will provide a number of opportunities for the successful candidate to develop new processes.

We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and keen to deliver in both performance and customer service.

The Medical Workforce and Recruitment Admin Assistant will provide administrative support to the Medical Workforce and Recruitment Team. Communication with Care Group Directors, Consultants, Business Managers, General Managers and Doctors, both in post and as applicants, on a daily basis, is a key requirement for this post, together with ensuring that documentation is dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a working knowledge of electronic systems such as Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of ESR payroll system would be an advantage, although training can be provided. Working knowledge of Agenda for Change and Medical Staffing terms and conditions would also be advantageous but not essential.

The role is fast paced and the ideal candidate will be comfortable in their ability to communicate with all levels of staff, both verbally and in writing. Above all we are looking for someone who is quick learning, with drive and enthusiasm and who is willing to go the ‘extra mile’ for our customer base.
