Booking or confirming a BSL interpreter

If you have a scheduled hospital appointment and have requested a face-to-face British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, you can confirm your interpreter has been booked by emailing:

📧 DBTHBSLInterpreter@nhs.net

If you need communication support and have not yet requested an interpreter, please let us know as early as possible before your appointment.

‘Convo Access’ – Instant access to an Interpreter via Facetime

We are pleased to offer Convo Access in many areas of our hospitals. If you use British Sign Language (BSL), simply scan the QR code displayed at participating reception or service desks to be connected to a qualified interpreter via video, helping you communicate with our teams there and then.

You will find Convo QR codes in all main reception areas across Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital.

To find out more about Convo, visit their website here: https://www.convo.io/uk/home
