The event, which is open to all, will take place on Friday 8 March, from 4:30pm to 7pm, within Doncaster Royal Infirmary’s Education Centre.
The Careers Showcase Event aims to provide invaluable insights into the diverse career pathways available within DBTH and the wider NHS. Attendees will have the chance to engage with professionals from various disciplines, learn about their career journeys, and gain practical advice on pursuing a career in health.
Professor Sam Debbage, Director of Education and Research at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, said: “The Careers Showcase Event is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in joining the NHS to find out more, and specifically what we can offer here at DBTH.
“As a teaching hospital, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and guiding them towards fulfilling careers that make a difference in people’s lives – so if you’re interested, please drop-in.”
During the session, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain insights into NHS careers
- Explore Clinical and Non-Clinical career options
- Learn about the value of transferable skills in healthcare
- Discover work experience opportunities within the Trust
