Digital Assistant Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a number of enthusiastic individuals to join the Digital Transformation Directorate to support the delivery of digital ways of working that will improve patient safety.

These posts will support the existing Digital Practitioner Team who have received commendations from for the delivery of the Digital Transformation Programme to date, which has successfully deployed:

  • Task management at night (Hospital@ Night)
  • Electronic patient observations (eObservations)
  • Bed management

All of the above have been deployed to Bassetlaw Hospital, who are now experiencing increased patient safety and improvements to working practices.

The post will require successful candidates to be flexible in working hours to cover shift. The work that individuals will be undertaking on a daily basis are:

  • Supporting learners and the integration of technology in to their daily work
  • Support the testing of the system to ensure that changes are clinically safe and meet the required clinical and business process.
  • You will liaise with a range of clinical roles to build effective relationships
  • Assist in trouble-shooting and understanding the problems faced by clinical teams (under indirect supervision)

The successful candidate will receive training on the technology that will be implemented into clinical working practices.
