This action has been taken as, in response to Covid-19, we have fundamentally rearranged our hospital sites to ensure we minimise any risk of cross-infection, and there are now specific areas for the movement of patients suspected or confirmed for the virus. This means that arriving outpatients are asked to come to South Block and utilise specific corridors, instead of our normal entrances just off Armthorpe Road.
In making this change, we have had to take a slightly different route with our shuttle, which is now travelling up and down Zetland Road on its way to site and we want to thank local residents for their patience during this time. We have taken this action to ensure the safety of our patients and we thank you for your understanding.Earlier this month, we took the necessary decision to re-route our shuttles to Doncaster Royal Infirmary, which now deposit passengers at the rear of our site and our South Block.
