We are deeply saddened to share the news that a well respected and dear colleague and friend, Chris Richardson, has passed away.
Chris was an ODP at Doncaster for 15 years, working within main theatres. A senior member of the team, he was always on hand to offer advice and share his experience gained through his many years of practice, especially within the emergency and resus teams.
It was his passion for sharing his knowledge, and along with his legendary sense of humour, that he was so well regarded. He could always be counted on as a friendly face to turn to and will be remembered as someone who was there to offer support and encouragement to anyone who needed it. Known for his jokes, Chris earned the title ‘The King of Comedy’ amongst those he worked with.
A caring and compassionate colleague, friend, and a proud, loving family man. Chris is irreplaceable and will leave a giant hole within the team and throughout the Trust. Our deepest sympathies go to his family who he adored so much, his loving wife Sharon, and three doting children.
