The work will commence at 8pm and be completed by midnight.
During this time it will not be possible to leave a message on a phone that has the voicemail facility. The phone will just ring continuously until the caller puts the phone down.
Speaking about this, Ken Anderson, Acting Chief Information Officer, said: “This work has been planned for some time and will improve telephony within our hospitals. While we expect any disruption to be kept to an absolute minimum, we want to make our communities aware ahead of time and we thank you for your patience in this matter.”
