Joining our team in the 1980s and spending her entire career within the Trust, Andrea has been a magnificent servant of Team DBTH, caring for countless patients and supporting innumerable families during her four decades at the Trust.
Andrea began her NHS journey as a Staff Nurse on Ward 8 (Children’s Orthopaedics) in 1984 and ends it as Divisional Director of Nursing for Children’s and Neonates. Andrea has always made the needs of the children and young people her main priority in all of the positions she has held and has been influential throughout her career in developing many aspects of the Children’s service.
We will miss Andrea greatly but wish her a happy retirement in her motor home adventures with her husband Danny, and not forgetting Lola the cockerpoo!
