Local hospitals to host recruitment event

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) is inviting prospective candidates to a Facilities recruitment open event at Doncaster Royal Infirmary this July.

The Trust is recruiting for part-time Service Assistants (cleaning roles only) through a dedicated recruitment event on Wednesday 22 July 2026 at Doncaster Royal Infirmary for anyone interested in joining the NHS.

Service Assistants play a vital role in keeping hospital environments safe, clean and welcoming for patients, visitors and colleagues. Their work helps maintain high standards of cleanliness across wards, departments and public areas, supporting infection prevention and patient safety every day.

The part-time roles offer flexible shift options to fit around busy lives, with vacancies available across morning and evening shifts from 6am–9am and 5pm–8pm.

The recruitment event will give prospective applicants the opportunity to learn more about the Service Assistant role, meet members of the Facilities team, ask questions and receive guidance about the recruitment process.

The event will take place in the Badminton Hall at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. Visitors should enter the hospital via Gate 1 and make their way into D Block, the building on their right, where the Badminton Hall will be signposted. A hospital site map is available here.

There are two bookable sessions available, at 9.30am and 1.30pm. Attendees should register for one session only.

Working in the NHS offers much more than a job. Alongside competitive pay, colleagues benefit from one of the UK’s leading pension schemes, generous annual leave, enhanced family leave, occupational sick pay and access to a wide range of health, wellbeing and staff discount schemes.

If you are reliable, flexible and take pride in delivering a high standard of work, this event is a great opportunity to find out more about joining the DBTH Facilities team.
