Clinical Research Hub

The Clinical Research Hub is a purpose-built facility for research, providing clinicians with a dedicated space to deliver high-quality studies and a welcoming environment for participants to attend their study visits.

What does the Clinical Research Hub offer?

The space includes a seated waiting area, a Research Office, a Consulting Room, and a Treatment Room.

  • The Research Office includes lockable tambour units for Investigator Site File storage and desk and computer space for on-site monitoring.
  • The Consulting Room includes a weight and height scale, examination table, and nurse call system.
  • The Treatment Room includes 3 treatment bays with reclining chairs, an emergency crash cart, respiratory rate device, body thermometer, blood pressure device, heart rate device, pulse oximeter, stethoscope, 12-lead ECG, nurse call system, a sluice, and lockable cabinets.

The Clinical Research Hub is also supported by an on-site Clinical Trials Pharmacy, Clinical Trials Laboratory, and Laboratory Kit and Equipment Store Room.

  • The Clinical Trials Pharmacy includes fridges and freezers for IMP storage (lockable with COMARK continuous temperature monitoring), ambient cupboard for IMP storage (lockable with temperature monitoring), quarantine IMP storage, and aseptic preparation facilities.
  • The Clinical Trials Laboratory includes fridges (4-8c) and freezers (-20c and -80c) for sample storage (CheckIt continuous temperature monitoring, incubator, and refrigerated swing bucket and fixed rotor centrifuges.
  • The Laboratory Kit and Equipment Store Room includes a dedicated room for laboratory kit and study equipment on individually labelled study shelves and manual temperature monitoring and control.
