Corporate Secretariat Manager

  • Salary: £25,655 – £31,534 per annum [Band 5]
  • Contract: Permanent

The post holder will assist the Medical secretary to provide effective and efficient support to clinical teams, maintaining robust systems in place for administrative management of patient pathways.

You will work flexibly as part of the team producing clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software, from outpatient and inpatient attendances ensuring clinical line of priority and chronological order.

RSA level 2 or equivalent typing experience is essential. A knowledge of medical terminology and a background in an administrative role within a healthcare environment would be an advantage. You will be required to promptly file correspondence and investigation results into case notes in line with the trust policy, ensure accuracy and recording of all clinical events as part of the patient pathway, and provide general administrative support where required across the whole team.

Corporate Governance Officer

  • Salary: £22,549 – £24,882 Pro Rata Per Annum [Band 4]

This role is pivotal to the effective and efficient running of the Corporate Trust Board office and is influential in our trust business.

As Corporate Governance Officer, you will act as the interface between Executive Directors, Trust Board and Committee meetings and the rest of the hospital.

The main duties of the role include supporting the Deputy Director Corporate Governance and Deputy Company Secretary in providing a high-quality service to the Board of Director and Council of Governor committee meetings, including drafting agendas, taking notes/writing minutes and maintenance of the committee action logs, chasing updates when required.

Applicants should be highly organised and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

They should also have strong administration and minute-taking skills to ensure outstanding quality in their work, be motivated and ambitious with a “Can Do” attitude.

You will be responsible for the continuous administrative system development.
