Tell us what matters to you: Help us develop our Trust strategy

Health professionals at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals (DBTH) have launched a listening exercise to ask local people help to develop the Trust’s strategy for the next five years.

Get involved by completing this short survey.

The listening exercise will include a series of online discussion events which are open to all those who would like to participate in a discussion, as well as an online survey with the aim of understanding and considering the views of patients, partners and the wider public as it develops its strategy for 2022 to 27.

DBTH is one of Yorkshire’s leading acute NHS trusts serving a population of more than 440,000 across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas and provides NHS services from Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop, from Montagu Hospital in Mexborough as well as a number of community based clinics.

Regarding the listening exercise Chief Executive, Richard Parker OBE, said: “Our overall objective is ‘To be the safest trust in England, outstanding in all that we do. To achieve this, we need to make sure that we listen to everyone in our communities so our new strategy reflects what you have told us we need to continue, improve upon and aim for.”

Throughout June and July, the Trust wants to hear from patients, colleagues, partners and the public. For more information on how you can get involved, links to the online survey and discussion events and more information please visit the Trust’s website here: www.dbth.nhs.uk/listening.
