An orthosis is a bodily worn device which can reduce pain, improve function and mobility.

The orthotics team offer assessment, advice and the provision of an orthosis that will influence the motion of one or more joints. These can be Callipers, insoles, special footwear, spinal braces, belts, hosiery, collars, fracture bracing or splints for after operations. The Orthotic department also administers the provision of wigs. Approved specialist suppliers hold these appointments off site.
