Public involvement and consultation

Details of consultation procedures, decision-making processes, timescales and responses:

  • Consultations in progress and how members of the public can become involved.
  • Results of Patient Satisfaction Surveys

One way to help patients understand their care and treatment, and to keep them fully informed, is to provide better information. We will copy letters to patients’ GPs to patients themselves. This will improve communication, and help patients comply with their clinical care.

We will increase the number of volunteers and extend the range of activities they provide, so giving essential support to patient services.
