About the service

The service sees patients who have had surgery to their mouth, laryngectomy operations, tracheostomies, radiotherapy, and patients who have swallowing issues, reflux, voice problems plus stroke-related communication and swallowing difficulties.

Patients are treated across all sites, including Montagu Hospital, Bassetlaw Hospital and Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

How to find our service

At Doncaster Royal Infirmary

We are located next to Physiotherapy, West block, level 3.  We share a reception and waiting area. Please check in at the Physiotherapy reception.  A walkthrough of the service at Doncaster Royal Infirmary is available here.

At Bassetlaw Hospital

I had a very good appointment and I was given answers to things that had

monthly visit to speech therapy is essential to keep me on track.
