What have we got?
We have a wide range of resources and services, from a quiet place to study, to an article / book request and evidence search services, access to electronic clinical and research databases and training to help you use them, not to mention good old fashioned books, which you can search for online – see below.
At DRI, we also have the Leisure Library – providing recreational reading in print, audio and digital formats, as well as DVD films and computers that are free to use, for all Trust staff, students and patients.

Not got the book you need? Our team can try and get a copy for you just email us with the details of what you need.

Who are we and what do we do?
We provide services to staff and students to support their education, training, research and continuing professional development. Our service also provides access to information, knowledge and quality evidence to support clinical and managerial decision making.
In addition, we also provide a range of health and well-being resources and materials to support staff and their families plus health information and recreational reading services for both patients and staff to support health and well-being.
Doncaster Royal Infirmary
Library: You can find the Library on the ground floor of the hospital (opposite The Education Centre).
Leisure Library: downstairs from the library at DRI. It provides recreational and health and well-being library services for staff and patients and also offers additional PC access, Wi-Fi and study space.
Bassetlaw Hospital: You can find the Library based in The Hub on the second floor of the hospital.
Montagu Hospital – You can find the library next to the training room on level 1 (near the lifts next to minor injuries). The library is not staffed. Please call 642894 for the door code.
