What can we do to help you?

We have quiet space for study or reflection, articles to read and reflect on, and a range of books.

We can help run journal clubs in teams as well as keeping you up-to-date with the latest developments in your role/specialty.

We have resources such as BrowZine, BMJ Best Practice and DynaMed to support professional development.

We have training sessions available to help you develop the skills to find evidence yourself.

Group discussion and reflection on new journal articles – we can help with Journal Clubs

Would you like us to help you find and assess journal articles with a group of your colleagues?  Ask about our help with Journal Clubs – they’re both participatory and reflective in nature so can provide you with excellent CPD evidence.

Want to search the databases for articles to read and reflect on? We can train you to find them better

We offer training sessions, both in a group and individually, on search techniques so that you can develop the skills to find evidence for yourself.
If you attend any training sessions provided by the Knowledge, Library & Information Service you’ll receive a certificate of attendance. If this training is relevant to your scope of practice, it could be added to your portfolio and used as evidence towards your CPD.
